There’s nothing worse than kicking someone when they’re feeling down, but sometimes it’s necessary. Such was the case for the Nasdaq Composite, which has lagged more behind the Dow Jones Industrial Average in October than in any month since 2002 and is likely to continue lagging.
There is no denying that the stock market performed very well last week. The Dow gained 5.7%, while the S&P 500 rose 4%, and the Nasdaq advanced 2.2%.
